The TWINS...Big News

Well the verdict is....

Boy and Girl

In this picture you are looking up at the butt cheeks and should see a little extra appendage in the middle.

In this picture the arrow is pointing between the legs. The legs are stretched straight out pointing to the right. The arrow is pointing at the girl parts between the legs to the left.

My appointments went very well today!! Not only did we find out the sex...we also got a got look at other important structures, such as the brain, heart, kidneys, bladder and all the bones. Everything looks great and the babies are measuring normal for their age (16 weeks). I did not gain any weight this month...although I find that hard to believe since i can't button any of my pants! I was lucky to get the H1N1 vaccination at my OBGYN's office...they were almost out and just got a shipment in last Thursday!

As far as my due date...Dr. King will not let me go beyond 38 weeks (March 30) and the average time of arrival for twins is 36 weeks (march 17). So I guess we can expect the twins to be born in March! Overall things are great and we are super excited to have the best of both worlds with a girl and a boy! ~Angel

Welcome Baby Gage!

Ashley and John are now proud parents of Gage Michael Kinkaid. He is so handsome! Gage weighed in at 7.0lbs and is 19 3/4 inches. We are so happy to welcome him to our clan!

First "Oufits"

We had a lovely lunch in New Braunsfels this weekend with Pat's family at Huisache Grill for Bob's birthday. Aunt Liz and Uncle Brian gave the twins their first outfits! (see pic). Also, I have had some request for "belly pics"...so here is the leastest on my weight gain status ;)

Hi Everyone!

Hi Everyone...I thought that I would start a blog to keep everyone updated on how our lives are going and how the new "Twins" are growing! I still have not and do not plan on jumping on the "facebook" bandwagon, so this is the next best alternative. Pat and I are doing great and so excited to start this new chapter in our lives. I had 2 doctors appointments last week and everything is going great! I will be uploading pictures of the twins in the next couple of days! Have a great week.
