The Babies Room is Coming Along

This past weekend my mom, aunt, dad and sister came into to town to start putting together the babies' room. (See pictures below). Everything looks great and we are anxiously waiting the furniture to arrive in mid to late February.

We re-did the "kids" bathroom...and yes that is a "J" for Jenni!! She loves her baths and yes they are in this bath tub!

29 Week Doctor's Appointments

Aren't We Flashy!!! (see sonograms)

Today we had our 29 week appointment with both doctors (OB and multiples specialist). The sonogram pictures are getting harder and harder to get...they don't have much room in there. They are now both head down....I have no idea when that happened. You would think that I could feel them flip! More importantly they are perfectly healthy and so am I. I am having no signs of pre-term labor and the doctors have no worries! Dr. King is the doctor that will be delivering them and she has me scheduled for a c-section at 38 weeks (Thrsday, April 1st!!) ...if they don't come earlier on their own! If they do decide to choose their own birthday then we will play it be ear...basically I don't know what will happen ;). I only gained 1 pound in 4 weeks, so I did get the you need to gain more weight lecture...but as long as the babies continue to grow normally all should be fine.

We are really excited about these babies and we are trying to get everything ready for their arrival. Pat got their room all painted this past week. It took us a few trails and tribulations, but we got it done. I will post pictures of the room in progress and then finished product when we get it all finished.

1st Baby Shower and Alan's Wedding

Eventful Weekend

This past weekend was very busy for Pat and I. We left on Friday afternoon and headed to Houston for Pat's cousin's wedding and baby shower for Liz and I. Fortunately we were also able to use this weekend to stay with and spend time with our good friends Billy, Holly and their little girl Aubrey. We had a great time hanging out and catching up with them. Thanks guys for your hospitality!

The wedding went very well and the reception was a blast. It was really good to see family that we haven't seen in a long time! Pat's mom and her sisters had a blast on the dance floor and even Grammie stayed up to party longer than we did!!!

As far as the baby shower goes...Let me just say this...Liz's friends friends from college are awesome. Her friends Lisa, Mary, and Amanda all got together and threw us a fabulous shower at a restaurant called Ousie's. Due to all of the family being in town for the wedding...it was perfect timing for us to have a joint baby shower. We both loaded up on great goodies for the kiddos! Thank You everyone!!
